Pat Bamford Joins Sheffield United After Leading Abusive Songs Targeting Manager Wilder
Patrick Bamford is now a member of Sheffield United just half a year after leading disrespectful taunts directed at their manager, Wilder.
This experienced striker, without a club since leaving Leeds United, has agreed to a deal joining the second-tier club in difficulty through the winter. His lengthy career at Elland Road finished amicably in August.
One of the player's last memorable actions while at Leeds included starting abusive chants regarding Wilder during the club’s promotion celebrations this spring. Both men had a past before Leeds won promotion back to the Premier League last season and United lost the playoff final to Sunderland.
